Letter of invitation to Canada — formatting
A person applying for a visitor visa often includes a letter of invitation from the person hosting them in Canada. The generator writes it from your answers: your status in Canada, the invited person, the purpose and dates of the visit, accommodation, and who pays the expenses.
The document can be produced in English or French. See IRCC's page on the letter of invitation for the information it expects.
What is this template for?
It presents, in a dated and signed letter, the information about your invitation that the officer can consult.
When can it be used?
- Inviting a family member or friend to visit Canada
- Supporting a visitor visa or super visa application
- Specifying accommodation and who pays the expenses during the stay
