Statement of unemployment period — sworn template
This statement attests, under oath, to a period during which the declarant held no employment — specifying the approximate start and end dates, the reason for the period (job search, studies, family or health reasons, etc.) and, if needed, the means of support during that time.
It is often requested for an immigration application, a loan, an income verification, or when an employment record shows a gap that no document can otherwise explain.
