Statement of financial support — sworn template
This statement attests, under oath, that one person provides financial or material support to another — by specifying the relationship between the people, the nature of the support (accommodation, money, food, other expenses), its amount or frequency where relevant, and since when.
It is often requested in support of an immigration, financial-aid, or services process. When a formal sponsorship or undertaking is required, the organization's official form applies.
What is this template for?
It formally records, under oath, a declaration of financial or material support provided to an identified person, for an organization.
When can it be used?
- Attesting that you financially support a family member or relative
- Describing the nature and length of the support in support of a file
- Accompanying other evidence (bank statements, transfers, receipts)
Before using it
If the receiving organization requires a formal undertaking (sponsorship, guarantee) with its own form, that official form must be used first — a simple statement does not create a legal obligation to provide support.
